Training Practice

As a result of the high standards of clinical care and education we offer, Kingfisher Family Practice is accredited as a Training Practice for the training of new Doctors and GPs. With the regular influx of new ideas and fresh thinking, as well as greater accessibility for appointments, training offers significant benefits to both staff and patients.

We also try to stay at the forefront of medical training and have already expressed our interest to get involved with the training and development of Physician Associates (further information about this role can be found on the Health Careers website).

GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors who are in their final year of GP training. Foundation Doctors (F1 or F2) are recently qualified from their university training and are rotating around various NHS departments before deciding on their chosen specialist field in which to begin Registrar training.
